Nearest Town:

Kelso

History:

Taits home town is one of the prettiest and desirable settlements in the Borders. It lies at the meeting of two rivers; the Tweed and the Teviot. Kelso has a beautiful and varied landscape, majestic castles and Abbeys. The town is full of architectural and historical interest. The spacious Kelso square where we are located claims to be the largest in Scotland. At its centre is still the bull Ring, a reminder of the traditional market days, now past. The surrounding cobbled streets of Horsemarket, Coalmarket and Woodmarket reflect the trade that was once carried out in the town centre.
